Girona's revival: Michel named La Liga coach of the month

After a disappointing start to the season, Girona has shown significant improvement, and La Liga has recognized the team’s progress.

Details: Girona’s head coach, Michel, has officially been named La Liga’s coach of the month for November.

In the voting, Michel surpassed Diego Simeone (Atlético Madrid) and Imanol Alguacil (Real Sociedad).

This is the fourth such award in Michel’s career. Last season, he was named coach of the month three times.

In November, Girona won all three of their La Liga matches: 4-3 against Leganés, a 1-0 away victory over Getafe, and a commanding 4-1 win in the home derby against Espanyol.

Reminder: In the Champions League, Girona has managed just three points in four games and has set a negative record for own goals.
