Giggs urges patience for Amorim to lead Man United to success
Manchester United’s recent results have understandably frustrated fans, but club legend Ryan Giggs believes this is merely a transitional phase on the path to success.
Details: Giggs has called for patience, time, and support for head coach Rúben Amorim, insisting that Manchester United will be fine if he is given the necessary backing.
Quote:
“As in any business, recruitment has to be right, and over the last ten years, it hasn’t been. We’ve made one bad decision after another. Now it’s about whether Rúben gets the players he needs, the support he requires, and the time.
We are in a bad position right now, but first of all, I have to say that I really like the manager. If Amorim is given a chance and time, he will bring success. If we get the right players and the manager gets time, everything will be fine. But at the moment, we are far from that.
We are still very close to it—very, very far behind—but things can change soon. We have tried giving managers a little time, but now he needs more—three or four transfer windows, I think,” Giggs said.
Reminder: Earlier reports suggested that Manchester United are ready to challenge their city rivals for Atalanta midfielder Éderson.
