Ghana: Two players join the Black Stars in Nagoya africafoot

Mohammed Salisu and Prince Osei Owusu have joined the Black Stars in Nagoya. AS Monaco defender Mohammed Salisu and CF Montréal striker Prince Osei Owusu joined the Black Stars squad in Nagoya, arriving Wednesday evening.

The squad now numbers 21 players, following the earlier arrival of Christopher Bonsu Baah, who joined the team Wednesday afternoon.

Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare remains the only player yet to arrive in Japan.

While Bonsu Baah immediately participated in the training session, Salisu and Osei Owusu are expected to take part in the full team training session on Thursday.

Preparations are intensifying for the Kirin Cup match against Japan, which will take place at the Toyota Stadium in Aichi Prefecture on Friday, November 14, 2025.
