Ghana to host the 2027 U20 Africa Cup of Nations

A first in nearly three decades.
Ghana has been selected to host the 2027 edition of the U20 Africa Cup of Nations. The award was officially made by the Confederation of African Football, confirmed Kurt Okraku, president of the Ghana Football Association. It will be the first time in nearly thirty years that the land of the Black Stars has hosted this competition.
The last time Ghana hosted the tournament was in 1999. At the time, the competition was known as the African Youth Championship. Nearly three decades later, Ghana will once again be the host nation for this Under-20 tournament.
