Ghana has officially introduced Carlos Queiroz as the new head coach of the Black Stars, signaling a fresh start for the national team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Portuguese manager steps into the role following the exit of Otto Addo, who parted ways with the team after a difficult run of results, including defeats to Austria and Germany in recent international friendlies.
Queiroz’s unveiling took place in Accra at the Alisa Hotel, where he met with journalists and shared his vision for the team.
Ghana now turns its focus to Group L, where the Black Stars will face a challenging set of opponents. They open their campaign against Panama on June 17, before taking on England on June 23, and then Croatia on June 27.
