Ghana international defender Jonas Adjetey is on the verge of joining Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg after the German club reportedly reached a full agreement with FC Basel for his transfer, according to renowned German transfer expert Florian Plettenberg.
The deal, valued at around €10 million, will see the 22-year-old centre-back move from Switzerland to Germany, concluding weeks of intense interest from several European clubs.
Adjetey has been a key figure for Basel, making 73 appearances for the Swiss club, and he has also been capped seven times for the Ghanaian national team.
