Ghana Black Stars Step Up Preparations Ahead of Wales Friendly in Cardiff
Ghana have intensified their build-up to the upcoming international friendly against Wales, with 24 players taking part in Saturday’s training session at Dragon Park.
The squad trained at full intensity as preparations continue for Tuesday’s clash at Cardiff City Stadium, where kick-off is scheduled for 6:45 pm.
Several key players were involved in the session, including Jordan Ayew, Thomas Partey, Iñaki Williams, Ernest Nuamah, and Kamaldeen Sulemana, all taking part as the team sharpens its tactics.
The friendly forms part of Ghana’s final preparations ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where the Black Stars will face Panama in Toronto on June 17. They will also meet England and Croatia in what promises to be a challenging group-stage campaign.
With momentum building in camp, Ghana will be aiming to fine-tune their performance levels before stepping onto the world stage.
