Getafe Confirm Christantus Uche Will Miss Entire Season With Serious Knee Injury

Getafe have confirmed that Nigerian midfielder Christantus Uche will miss the entire season after suffering a serious right knee injury that requires surgery.

The 22-year-old sustained the injury following a heavy challenge from Monaco defender Mawissa, with subsequent medical examinations revealing damage to both the ligaments and menisci in his right knee.

Getafe announced that Uche will undergo surgery in the coming days, with the club expected to provide further details about the procedure and his recovery in due course.

In a statement published on the club's official website, Getafe confirmed that the recovery process will be lengthy and that the Nigerian will therefore miss the entire campaign.
