Michel Boni has chosen to represent Benin on the international stage. The rising star, who currently plays for Brentford, has been called up for the upcoming international break. But before being called up by Gernot Rohr, there were discussions with his entourage. Beyond these, Boni’s desire to represent Benin was a key factor.
Michel Boni is both Ivorian and Beninese through his mother. We travelled to see him and managed to convince both his mother and his agent to advise him to come. He himself is very enthusiastic about the idea of playing for us. He is only 18 years old. He is at Brentford in England and we are delighted that he has accepted our invitation.
