Germany Edge Ghana in Late Drama to Secure Friendly Victory

Germany claimed a hard-fought 2-1 win over Ghana in an entertaining international friendly in Stuttgart on Monday.

The hosts controlled much of the game and took the lead just before halftime through a penalty converted by Kai Havertz.

Ghana responded after the break, with Abdul Fatawu Issahaku finishing a quick counter-attack to level the score and put the Black Stars back in contention.

With the match heading towards a draw, Deniz Undav struck in the 88th minute to restore Germany’s lead and seal the victory.
