Mercedes driver George Russell claimed victory in the Belgian Grand Prix. This triumph marks only the third win in his Formula 1 career. Notably, this season is the first time Russell has achieved two wins, having previously won the Austrian Grand Prix earlier this year.

Starting from sixth position, Russell managed to secure the win through a one-stop strategy. His teammate, Lewis Hamilton, finished second, while Oscar Piastri from McLaren came in third.

The top ten also included Charles Leclerc (Ferrari), Max Verstappen (Red Bull), Lando Norris (McLaren), Carlos Sainz (Ferrari), Sergio Perez (Red Bull), Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin), and Esteban Ocon (Alpine).

The next Formula 1 race will be held in the Netherlands, with the main event taking place on August 25.
