Hamed Junior Traore returns to the Italian league, where he played a few years ago. The Ivory Coast international will play for Genoa during the 2026–2027 season.
He joins the Italian side on a season-long loan with an option to buy. The Ivory Coast attacking midfielder arrives from Olympique de Marseille, where he is under contract until 2030. Hamed Junior Traore is temporarily leaving the Marseille club just one season after his arrival.
The 26-year-old Ivorian returns to Italy’s Serie A with experience in European football. As well as the Italian league, he has played in Ligue 1 and the Premier League.
