Generous offer from Turkey! Tottenham receive substantial bid for their Senegalese midfielder
The Turkish giants have set their sights on strengthening their midfield with a player from the English Premier League.
Details: According to renowned insider Sacha Tavolieri, Istanbul’s Galatasaray have submitted an official offer to Tottenham Hotspur for the transfer of midfielder Pape Matar Sarr, valued at €18 million.
However, the initial bid from the Istanbul side was rejected. The London club is demanding at least €25 million for the 23-year-old Senegalese international, and negotiations between the clubs are ongoing.
Meanwhile, Galatasaray are making solid progress in talks with Sarr himself over personal terms—there are no issues on that front.
It’s worth noting that the Senegalese midfielder has been under contract with Tottenham Hotspur since 2021 (he spent the 2021/22 season on loan at Metz), and his current deal with Spurs runs until June 2030. The reputable portal Transfermarkt values the player at €30 million.
Reminder: Double raid! Tottenham working on sensational deal for BOTH Man City forwards
