The semifinals of the 2024 WTA Finals took place today in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
Details: Following the semifinals, it was confirmed that American Coco Gauff will face China’s Zheng Qinwen in the final.
Zheng secured her spot by defeating Czech Barbora Krejcikova in straight sets, with a scoreline of 6-3, 7-5.
Gauff, meanwhile, took down World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka. Gauff won the first set in a tiebreak 7-4 and claimed the second set 6-3, advancing to the final.
The championship match will take place tomorrow, November 9, at 16:00 CET.
Reminder: The draw for the 2024 ATP Finals also took place today.
