On 8 August, the third qualifying round of the Conference League will be played between Slovakian Ružomberok and Croatian Hajduk. The head coach of the latter is the legendary Gennaro Gattuso, and he made a shocking appearance at the pre-match press conference.
Along with him, Hajduk midfielder Filip Krovinovic attended the media event and got a kick out of his coach:
"Filip, don't say too much, come on, very quickly and f**k off," Gattuso told him.
Perhaps the Italian forgot that at that moment both the microphone and the camera were switched on, which recorded it all. Soon the episode was viralised in the media.
Gattuso took over Hajduk at the beginning of July 2024. In charge of the team from Split, the former Milan and Marseille head coach managed to play three matches, of which he won two and drew one more.
