Manchester United legend Gary Neville believes Liverpool's Egyptian star Mohamed Salah can subtly hint at his future intentions with recent social media posts despite ongoing contract talks and Salah's current contract expiring in the summer of 2025, a thereby owning Enfield fans are not confident about long-term plans.

After Liverpool's 2-1 win over Brighton on November 2, Salah posted a cryptic message on his social media accounts, sparking further speculation. In a recent It's Called Soccer podcast, Neville said, "I thought he'd leave years ago, but he's still thriving here." Neville speculated that Salah may be pushing for a more lucrative new deal, saying, “He may be looking for the recognition and value he sees at other big clubs”.
