Gary Neville calls Real Madrid's approach towards Liverpool and Alexander-Arnold "insulting"

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has criticized the rumors surrounding Real Madrid's offer to Trent Alexander-Arnold, labeling the behavior of Los Blancos as "insulting."

Quote. "A bid from Real Madrid comes at the wrong time for him. I don’t know what will happen with him, but certainly, if these rumors are flying around before a big game, it won’t be easy because of the distractions.

Real Madrid is an absolute beast of a club. It’s insulting how they operate, thinking they can get whatever they want. But Liverpool is a massive club — they are never going to sell Trent for £20 million in January. That’s a bit of a joke.

It’s probably unsettled Trent. You can imagine his agent, family, and friends asking how he’s doing, creating all that noise in his head ahead of the game," Neville said to Sky Sports.

Background. It was previously reported that Liverpool rejected an offer from Real Madrid to sell Alexander-Arnold in the winter transfer window.
