The future of Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho at Chelsea remains uncertain, despite the player's own wishes. According to Topskills Sports UK, the footballer's agent has informed the London club's management that Garnacho feels happy at the team and would like to continue his career at Stamford Bridge.
Interestingly, Chelsea's leadership does not share this view and is considering parting ways with the Argentine as early as next summer—just a year after his move from Manchester United. To recall, the London club signed the player in August 2025, paying around £40 million for the transfer.
At the same time, the player's representative emphasized that if Garnacho is to leave, he will only consider a permanent transfer. The winger categorically rules out any loan deal. Several teams from Italy as well as Atlético Madrid have already shown interest in him.
On a side note, today, March 7, Garnacho scored against Wrexham in the FA Cup. This goal became his 7th of the current season.
