Many may have forgotten, but Liverpool star Mohamed Salah began his English football journey at Chelsea. Though he struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge, he flourished at Liverpool. With rumors of Salah potentially leaving as a free agent, some have speculated about his return to Chelsea. However, club legend William Gallas disagrees with the idea.

Details: The former Chelsea defender stated that signing Salah shouldn’t even be considered, not because of past ties with the forward, but due to the disruption he could bring to the team's balance under Enzo Maresca.

Quote: "I think Chelsea should pass on the opportunity to sign Mohamed Salah as a free agent this summer. I believe he would hinder the team. The current Chelsea squad is learning and growing together, which works well for Enzo Maresca.

They are part of a generation without big egos, even though Cole Palmer is in the spotlight. I think bringing in a player like Salah would disrupt the team’s balance, despite his Premier League form, and it would weaken Liverpool," Gallas told Goal.
