Galatasaray President Rules Out Summer Exit for Victor Osimhen Amid Transfer Speculation
Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek has dismissed speculation surrounding the future of striker Victor Osimhen, insisting the club have no intention of selling the Nigerian star this summer.
Osimhen has recently been linked with several top European clubs, including FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Chelsea following his impressive performances in Turkey.
Speaking about the striker’s future, Özbek made Galatasaray’s position clear.
“We are not considering selling Victor Osimhen. Putting a price on a player we don’t intend to sell is like dressing a footballer before he’s even born,” he said.
The 27-year-old forward joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan from Napoli on August 31, 2024, with the Turkish champions covering his €6 million net salary as part of the agreement.
