Galatasaray Officially Complete Signing of Nigerian Heritage Midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu

Galatasaray have officially confirmed the signing of Nigerian heritage midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu, adding the highly rated youngster to their squad ahead of the new season.

The Turkish champions announced the deal in an official statement on Wednesday, revealing that Ugochukwu has joined the club on an initial loan agreement.

According to Galatasaray, the loan deal is worth £3 million and includes a conditional option to make the move permanent for £22.5 million if certain requirements are met.

The club also disclosed the financial details of the player's contract, confirming that the midfielder will receive a net salary of €2.65 million during the 2026/27 campaign.
