Galatasaray has managed to secure a deal for German winger Leroy Sané, and the Turkish capital is now banking on this move to help retain Victor Osimhen in the squad.
Details: According to insider Florian Plettenberg, Galatasaray believes that the arrival of the German winger could persuade Osimhen to stay with the team. The club has presented the Nigerian striker with a record-breaking contract offer. However, negotiations with Napoli remain a stumbling block.
The main issue is that Super Lig regulations prohibit paying Napoli the full €75 million in one go — the payment must be made in installments.
Recently, Victor Osimhen was in the spotlight after a failed transfer to Al Hilal. The Nigerian rejected the offer from the Saudi club, even though all the paperwork had already been prepared.
Reminder: Istanbul's Galatasaray has already received Leroy Sané's verbal agreement, and negotiations are ongoing to finalize the details of the deal.
