Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk has confirmed that star striker Victor Osimhen will be available for his side’s crucial UEFA Champions League encounter against Atletico Madrid.
The Nigerian forward had raised fitness concerns after limping off during Nigeria’s semi-final defeat to hosts Morocco at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. However, Buruk has now eased those worries by confirming Osimhen’s swift return to training with the Turkish giants.
Speaking ahead of the European showdown, Buruk revealed that the forward rejoined the squad without issues.
“Osimhen joined the squad yesterday. He trained with us, and it was a good training session,” the Galatasaray boss said.
