Tyson Fury is set to face Oleksandr Usyk in a rematch on Saturday, December 21. Ahead of the bout, Fury shared what he considers the greatest victory of his life.
Details: In an interview with DAZN, the British boxer revealed that his greatest triumph was overcoming suicidal thoughts. According to him, everything happening in boxing pales in comparison to that achievement.
Quote: "I don’t think boxing will ever be my greatest victory. I came back from suicidal thoughts. I came back from being in the depths of despair. The fact that I’m getting paid a pile of money to fight some clown, or just another boxer... it’s all child’s play compared to what I’ve been through," Tyson Fury stated.
Reminder. The event is scheduled for Saturday, December 21. The undercard kicks off at 5:00 PM Central European Time, with the main event between Usyk and Fury expected to begin around midnight on December 22, CET.
Notably, it was previously reported that an artificial intelligence-based judge will also monitor the fight, though its decision will not affect the official results.
