The shake-up at Pumas UNAM continues as two prominent names were left off the squad list for preseason training in Playa del Carmen. Súper Deportivo has confirmed that Rogelio Funes Mori and Leo Suárez will not continue with the club for the upcoming Apertura 2025 campaign.

Both Argentine players are reportedly being approached by other clubs, though their next destinations remain undecided. Funes Mori, once a key figure at Monterrey, struggled to make a similar impact at Pumas. Suárez, who joined in 2024, never found consistency due to recurring injuries.

Their departures follow that of Robert Ergas, marking another step in head coach Efraín Juárez’s rebuilding process. After several sessions at the club’s training base, the squad has now moved to the coast for further preparation—without two of last season’s key signings.
