The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has temporarily suspended five individuals amid an ongoing investigation into alleged match manipulation in the Uganda Premier League.
The case centers on a match between Kitara FC and Express FC played on 21 December 2024, with initial findings linking several key figures to the suspected scheme.
According to reports, Mike Mutyaba, Katende Ivan, and Express FC CEO Ashraf Miiro are connected to the alleged manipulation, while players Emmanuel Kalyowa and Ashraf Mbazira are also believed to have been involved during the fixture.
FUFA has confirmed that the investigation is ongoing, and further action may be taken as more information emerges.
