African football fans are treated to an exciting 2025 calendar filled with competitions for fans. The action kicks off with the CHAN (African Nations Championship) from Feb. 1 to 28 in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Morocco will also stage the much-anticipated CAN 2025 later this year from December 21 to January 18, 2026.

Youth tournaments take center stage, with the CAN U17 in Morocco (March 30–April 19) and the CAN U20 in Ivory Coast (April 26–May 18). Women’s football will shine with the Women’s CAN, set for July 5–26 in Morocco.

On the global stage, Africa’s finest clubs will compete in the inaugural expanded FIFA Club World Cup in the United States (June 15–July 13). The continent will also host two FIFA World Cups: the U20 World Cup (September 27–October 19) and the U17 World Cup (November 5–27), with the Women’s U17 World Cup scheduled from October 17–November 8 in Morocco.

Other highlights include the Beach Soccer World Cup in Seychelles (May 1–11) and the continuation of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, ensuring a year full of thrilling football action.
