Friendly/Algeria – Zimbabwe: Petkovic's revamped starting eleven

Vladimir Petkovic has made a few changes to his usual starting lineup. This change comes for the first of Algeria's two friendly matches during the November FIFA international window.

Against Zimbabwe, whom the Greens will face at 5:30 PM in Jeddah, the national team will line up in a 3-5-2 formation.

This setup is also unprecedented, even though the Fennecs have played with three defenders before under Petkovic.

After Luca Zidane withdrew due to an adductor injury, Alexis Guendouz, the number 1 goalkeeper, gave way to Oussama Benbot, who made his second appearance and start after the one against Rwanda last June.
