Friendly Match - FIFA Matchdays: Senegal Takes on Kenya After Defeat Against Brazil

Senegal's defeat against Brazil in the friendly match hasn't stopped the Lions from continuing to dream. Senegal follows up this Tuesday, November 18th, with a second friendly match against Kenya.

As the Lions continue their preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, the match will be played at 3:00 PM GMT at the Mardan Sports Complex in Antalya.

Indeed, Senegal wants to use this match to fine-tune its tactics and strengthen team cohesion before heading to Morocco. Facing an opponent less in form than Brazil, the Lions will primarily be looking to maintain their momentum and confirm their status as 2021 African champions, a mission that may not be easy to accomplish.

Kenya, having failed to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, will use this friendly match as the Harambee Stars to continue their development and assess the form of their squad.

With different objectives, this friendly will allow both teams to gauge their strengths.
