The Ivory Coast national team is set to face France in a friendly match next summer. No official announcement has been made yet, but sources say that an agreement in principle has been reached between the two teams.
The match is scheduled to take place on 4 June 2026 in Nantes in western France. The Ivorians, who have qualified for the 2026 World Cup finals in the United States, Canada and Mexico, want to refine their strategy before the competition kicks off on 11 June 2026.
Ahead of this friendly match with France, the Ivorian Football Federation officially announced on Monday 26 January a friendly match between Côte d'Ivoire and Scotland. This will take place on 31 March 2026 at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool.
