Friendly gesture: Joshua Kimmich sends doner kebab to injured RB Leipzig player Benjamin Henrichs
RB Leipzig defender Benjamin Henrichs has started his recovery process following an injury sustained in a recent match against Bayern Munich. On his YouTube channel, Henrichs shared the progress of his rehabilitation after surgery and a heartwarming moment involving Joshua Kimmich.
It turns out that the Bayern Munich midfielder sent Henrichs a döner kebab to lift his spirits and aid his recovery. In the video, one of Henrichs’ friends visiting him reveals the foil-wrapped kebab.

"Uber Eats arrived, and I’m thinking, what is this? They brought a döner kebab. Joshua Kimmich often writes to me; he’s truly a great captain and an amazing person. And then he texts me, ‘Did the döner arrive?’ And I’m like, ‘What’s happening?’” Henrichs shared with a smile.
The gesture was a welcome surprise for Henrichs, who expressed his gratitude for the thoughtful act from his Germany teammate during such a challenging time. Henrichs is recovering from a ruptured Achilles tendon, which will require a lengthy rehabilitation process.
It’s worth noting that in the Bundesliga’s 15th round, Bayern Munich cruised to a dominant 5–1 victory over RB Leipzig.
