Frattesi was close to leaving Inter for another top club in winter

Since joining Inter, midfielder Davide Frattesi has struggled to secure regular playing time. However, one club was ready to offer him the stability he has been lacking.

Details: According to Calciomercato, four Italian clubs showed interest in signing the 25-year-old midfielder. Among them were Roma, Lazio, and Napoli, but Juventus were the most serious contender. However, the Bianconeri ultimately failed to reach an agreement with Inter over a deal.

Reminder: The former Sassuolo midfielder joined Inter on loan with an obligation to buy in the summer of 2023, but he has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter. Simone Inzaghi continues to favor a midfield trio of Nicolò Barella, Hakan Çalhanoğlu, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the club’s most crucial matches.

Previously, it was reported that Juventus are interested in signing Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
