A free agent since his contract with Toulouse expired, the Cameroonian striker is expected to relaunch his career at another Ligue 1 club.

Frank Magri has caught the eye of Nice. The French club is keen to secure the international’s services during this summer’s transfer window.

Talks are reportedly at a very advanced stage and the two parties are said to have reached an agreement. The 26-year-old Cameroonian striker is reportedly set to undergo a medical, according to Foot Mercato.

Having scored five goals and provided one assist for Toulouse last season, Frank Magri is seen as an attacking reinforcement by the French club’s management. His profile has therefore been approved by the Nice board.

Frank Magri has experience of the French league, having played there since the start of his professional career. He played for Bastia in Ligue 2 from 2021 to 2023 before joining Toulouse in Ligue 1 in the summer of 2023.

If the transfer goes through, Nice would have pulled off a coup in the transfer market, as the Cameroonian would arrive on a free transfer.
