Frank Magri dropped from Toulouse FC’s first-team squad
The Cameroonian international is not expected to play again for the rest of the season.
Toulouse FC has decided to take a hard line against Frank Magri. At the club since 2023, the 26-year-old centre-forward’s contract is due to expire in June 2026. But against all expectations, the Cameroonian has refused to renew. This has angered the French club’s management, according to the media outlet Lesviolets.
Although he was due to be part of the squad travelling to the Parc des Princes to face Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1 on Friday 3 April, Frank Magri was ultimately dropped. This decision was taken in response to the player’s refusal to extend his contract. The Indomitable Lion is planning to leave on a free transfer next summer. However, the French club does not intend to play him for the rest of the season.
