Franck Kessié has spoken up about his brief spell with the Spanish giants, describing it as the happiest period of his career despite a relatively short stay at the club.
The Ivorian midfielder expressed deep affection for the Catalan side, saying he felt fulfilled regardless of how long his spell lasted.
“Playing for Barça is the happiest I’ve ever been, whether it was for a year, six months, or even just four days,” Kessié said, as reported by Mundo Deportivo.
The Ivory Coast midfielder joins Barcelona as a free agent in 2022 and then spent one season with the Spanish club before completing a permanent transfer to the Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli.
