Fourth new player. Juventus signed a young defender from Verona

Juventus, following the appointment of Thiago Motta as head coach, continues to be active in the transfer market.

The fourth new signing for the "Bianconeri" this summer is versatile Colombian defender Juan Cabal. Juventus paid Verona €11 million for his transfer, with an additional €2 million in potential bonuses.

The 23-year-old, capable of playing both as a central defender and a left-back, has signed a five-year contract with the Turin club.

Juventus won the race for Cabal against Inter, who were also keen on acquiring him.

Juan Cabal joined Verona in the summer of 2022 from Atlético Nacional for €3.5 million. Last season, he made 33 appearances in Serie A.
