After a series of setbacks, Manchester United visited Aston Villa for a match in the 7th round of the Premier League. The teams ended the match with no goals scored, settling for a 0-0 draw.
After the match, United's head coach Erik ten Hag found some positives in both the result and his team's performance.
Quote: "It’s the fourth clean sheet of the season. We had very good organization and very good personality in the team. Resilient, determined. So it was a very good spirit as a team.
We almost didn’t concede a chance and when you defend like this, you can have some luck, like in the end with the big chance at the back post. We create loads of chances in our seven games, but we have to step up. But also we have to take into consideration that Højlund is returning and not up to full speed", - said Ten Hag to Sky Sports.
Reminder: It was previously reported that Ten Hag could have been dismissed had his team lost to Villa.
