Four NHL players are facing allegations of sexual assault, as reported by ESPN.

According to sources, the accused players include Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Carter Hart, Calgary Flames forward Dillon Dube, as well as New Jersey Devils players Michael McLeod and Kevin Bahl. All four were members of the Canadian junior national team at the 2018 World Championship.

The police initiated an investigation in 2022 after TSN reported that the Canadian hockey team settled a lawsuit with a woman. She had claimed to have experienced sexual assault by eight team members after a celebration dedicated to winning the gold medals at the 2018 World Junior Championship.

The National Hockey League conducted its own investigation, but the findings will not be made public. Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly stated on Tuesday that they would not comment on the incident at this time.
