Eddie Jordan, the legendary founder of the Formula 1 team Jordan Grand Prix, has shared that he is currently battling cancer, diagnosed earlier this year. According to The Sun, the 76-year-old Irishman is fighting prostate and bladder cancer, which has aggressively progressed in recent months.

Jordan appeared on David Coulthard's Formula for Success podcast, where he revealed that since receiving his diagnosis in March or April, the disease has spread to his spine and pelvis. He also urged people to prioritize their health and undergo regular medical check-ups.

"Go and get tested, because in life you've got chances and there is so much medical advice out there and so many things that you can do to extend your lifetime. Go and do it. Don't be stupid, don't be shy. It's not a shy thing - look after your body, guys," Jordan said.

Jordan’s team played a pivotal role in Formula 1 history, most notably as the team where Michael Schumacher made his F1 debut in 1991. Over the years, Jordan Grand Prix also nurtured talents like Giancarlo Fisichella, Rubens Barrichello, and others.
