Former Valencia footballer dies in Spain Floods

Former footballer Jose Castillejo became one of the victims of the floods in Spain, which have claimed at least 205 lives.

Details: Castillejo lived in the Valencia region, which was affected by severe weather. "We regret the death of Jose Castillejo," read a statement from Valencia football club.

The 28-year-old midfielder played for Valencia's youth team. He also played for several clubs in the lower divisions of Spanish football before retiring in 2020.

Reminder: Valencia postponed their match against Real Madrid, which was scheduled for Saturday, due to the floods that swept through the region. In addition to the Valencia vs. Real match, six other games in the round of 64 of the Copa del Rey were also postponed.
