Former Roma head coach Jurić reaches agreement with Southampton

Last week, Southampton, struggling this season, predictably parted ways with head coach Russell Martin. A replacement has already been identified.

Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, Southampton's management has reached an agreement with Croatian manager Ivan Jurić.

The contract is expected to be signed today, although specific terms have not yet been disclosed.

Earlier this season, Jurić managed Roma but was dismissed after only 12 matches.

This will be Jurić's first experience coaching outside of Italy. Throughout his career, he has managed Torino, Verona, Genoa, Crotone, and Mantova.

Reminder: Southampton has collected only 5 points from 16 Premier League matches and currently sits 9 points away from the safety of 17th place.
