Former Real Madrid star could return to La Liga

Former Real Madrid midfielder James Rodríguez may be returning to La Liga.

According to Cope, Celta Vigo has made an official offer to James, proposing a two-year contract.

It is noted that other Spanish teams, such as Atlético Madrid and Real Betis, are also interested in acquiring James, with Betis particularly keen and having made an offer. However, Betis's ability to sign him is contingent on financial Fair Play regulations.

The 33-year-old Colombian, currently playing for São Paulo, had an excellent Copa America and was even named the MVP of the tournament, although his team ultimately lost to Argentina in the final.

The Colombian "10" did not play in the final against Argentina, but was the mastermind for his team throughout the tournament, recording 6 assists.

James is also known for his performances with Bayern Munich, Porto, Monaco, Everton, and Olympiacos.
