Former Real Madrid player intends to return to La Liga
Colombian forward James Rodriguez had a brilliant performance at the 2014 World Cup representing his national team, leading to his €75 million transfer to Real Madrid.
However, he couldn't maintain the same level of play, subsequently moving to Bayern Munich, then to Everton in England, Qatar's Al-Rayyan, Greece's Olympiacos, and finally to Brazil's Sao Paulo.
Nevertheless, ahead of a recent friendly match against the Spanish national team (1-0), talks about his future resurfaced.
"When you play for the national team, you must perform well, so I didn't do anything unusual today.
Returning to La Liga? Indeed, why couldn't I return to La Liga in the future, a league where I've always enjoyed playing?" - said the Colombian player.
At the beginning of the new season in Brazil, James has already played four matches, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
