Ex-Cardiff City and QPR footballer Leon Jeanne is now a wanted man, with police searching for him to return to prison, reports Daily Mail. Authorities have not disclosed the specific reason behind the warrant for his arrest.
Jeanne has a long history of legal troubles. In 2015, he was sentenced to 30 months in prison for conspiracy to supply cocaine. He was also prosecuted in 2017 for involvement in a violent altercation that included the use of a hammer and a brick.
His criminal record also includes dangerous driving in 2019 and violating a curfew order.
The last time Jeanne was publicly seen was two years ago at his son's funeral, where he appeared in handcuffs and under the supervision of prison guards.
Once considered one of the most promising young footballers in Wales, Jeanne was part of Arsenal’s youth setup and was highly rated for his talent. However, his career quickly derailed.
"He was at Arsenal with me and was the most talented player I'd ever seen at that age. He was unbelievable. But he went off the rails," recalled former teammate Jay Bothroyd.
