Former Liverpool player is ready to move to the Championship

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain may return to England after spending last season with Beşiktaş. According to sources, the midfielder, who ended his career at Liverpool and signed with the Turkish club last summer, could move to a Championship club.

Oxlade-Chamberlain signed a three-year contract with Beşiktaş and made 30 appearances across all competitions last season. Despite having two years left on his contract, he is being linked with a possible return to England.

It is reported that Sheffield United are preparing an ambitious loan offer for the 30-year-old player for the 2024/25 season. At Beşiktaş, Oxlade-Chamberlain earns around £2.2 million per year, which equates to approximately £42,000 per week.

Sheffield United are eager to return to the Premier League after being relegated last season, and signing the former England international could significantly boost their chances of promotion.
