The Hungarian league is not typically known for hosting high-profile players, but it is set to welcome a footballer who has previously won both the Premier League and Champions League.

Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, former Liverpool midfielder Naby Keïta will leave Werder Bremen and join Ferencváros on loan.

The deal will last until the end of the season, with an option to buy. Keïta has already completed his medical ahead of the move.

Naby Keïta joined Werder Bremen in the summer of 2023 as a free agent but managed to play only five matches for the German club due to injuries and disciplinary issues. He has yet to make an appearance this season.

During his time at Liverpool, the 29-year-old Guinean made 129 appearances and scored 11 goals. Prior to his move to England, Keïta had a highly successful stint with RB Leipzig.

Reminder: Earlier, Werder Bremen announced its withdrawal from social media platform X due to the policies of its owner, Elon Musk.
