Veteran defender Danilo was not part of Thiago Motta’s plans at Juventus and will soon sign a deal with a new club.
Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, the 33-year-old Brazilian has fully agreed on the terms of a contract with Flamengo.
Juventus terminated Danilo’s contract, allowing him to join his new club as a free agent. The agreement will be for two years.
Danilo, who captained Juventus, played 213 matches for the club, scoring 9 goals and providing 14 assists. He previously played for Real Madrid, Porto, and Santos.
Reminder: It was also revealed today that legendary player Neymar is set to return to Brazilian football, having agreed on a deal with Santos.
