Former Juventus and Atletico transfer target Ferguson wants to play in the EPL
Last year, clubs from Italy and Spain battled for Bologna midfielder Lewis Ferguson. However, in April, he tore his cruciate ligaments and remained with the Rossoblu. Yet, the Scotsman envisions a different direction for himself.
Details: The midfielder admitted that for players from his country, it is inevitable to try their luck in the English Premier League, even though there's currently no interest in him from there. He also mentioned that he's currently happy in Italy.
Quote: "When you grow up in the UK, play in Scotland, and watch a lot of Scottish football, it seems like the next step is to move to the Premier League. It's just natural for Scottish players. But yes, it's something I'd like to do at some point in my career.
Will it ever happen? I don't know. And when, I also don't know, but as I said, I'm very happy here, playing in Italy and enjoying the lifestyle and culture," Ferguson stated.
