Details: According to Mundo Deportivo, the prosecution in the court case against 28-year-old former Espanyol forward Álvaro Aguado is demanding a nine-year prison sentence on charges of sexual assault.

It is reported that Aguado is accused of raping a nightclub employee in June 2024. The woman alleges that Aguado forcibly dragged her into a restroom and raped her there.

Additionally, the prosecution is seeking €65,000 in compensation for moral damages.

Aguado himself denies the allegations, insisting that everything that happened between them was consensual.

Currently, Álvaro Aguado is a free agent after leaving Espanyol in July 2025. During his time with Espanyol, Aguado played 57 matches, scoring one goal and providing four assists.
