Former Chelsea head coach confirms players lacked space in changing room
Since his departure from Chelsea, English coach Graham Potter has been linked with several Premier League clubs, yet he remains without a job. In his free time, Potter has shared insights about his time at Chelsea, particularly when the team was overcrowded with players.
Details: Potter confirmed that due to a lack of space in the locker room, some players had to sit on the floor.
"Some players literally had to sit on the floor. Of course, that’s not ideal. Everyone recognized that it was a very challenging situation because you can only field 11 players, and if you have 20 players who aren’t playing, it doesn’t matter what club you’re at.
If you can find a coach who says, ‘Yes, this is the best situation for me,’ I would be very surprised," Potter remarked in an interview with The Telegraph.
Reminder: Before joining Chelsea, Potter had a successful tenure at Brighton, from which he was dismissed in the winter of 2023.
